Willy Paul offers public apology for alleging that a radio presenter Adella is a lesbian

Tuesday, 9 September 2014 0 comments

Scandals and gossip are daily
occurrences for most celebrities who
will do anything to stay relevant.
However, it gets worse when one
celebrity lashes out at the other on
social media, where every member of
the public can watch the drama.
Well, most recently, gospel hit maker
Willy Paul stirred Adelle, a local
radio presenter the wrong way when
he alleged that she was “a lesbian”.
As the story goes, Willy Paul was in
Adelle’s show and the two were
having a rather captivating session
when fans started asking whether
the two had chemistry, or whether
they had considered dating.
Calmly, Adelle turned the offer
down, but this was later followed by
the allegations by Willy saying that
she was not straight.
An agitated Adelle took to social
media to rant and set the record
straight also adding that Willy
should have been more careful with
his words.
After their argument went on to
trend for a whole day with fans even
taking part in the drama, Willy Paul
came out to apologise saying that “It
was all just a game.”

Fast and Furious 8, Paul Walker’s younger brother, Cody Walker

Sunday, 29 June 2014 0 comments

Fast and Furious 8 could star Paul
Walker’s younger brother, Cody
Walker, according to reports.
After the tragic death of one of the
franchise’s biggest stars the studio
went into a spiral as Fast and
Furious 7 was far from complete.
With reports of lookalikes and CGI to
replace Walker’s character Brian
O’Conner, it wasn’t until news of
Walker’s brother’s Cody and Caleb -
who look very similar to the late star
- that fans were certain the film
would still be released.
The latest report is that Paul’s
younger brother Cody will step in
and continue with the franchise, for
at least the next instalment.
According to MoviePilot.com, media
analyst Paul Dergarabedian says if
Cody “does a great job and is well
received by audiences in this newly
conceived role, then who better to
carry on the Walker tradition than
his brother …when its a family
member who fills in, it seems to
soften any criticism that could
develop.”
Fast and Furious 7 star Ludacris, who
plays Tej Parker in the series,
confirmed that the late star’s
bothers Caleb and Cody will be
filling in.

J blessing is making it, MULLA!!

Thursday, 26 June 2014 0 comments

J Blessing as a
businessman, he has to work with
all musicians. “It is a calling to be
a gospel producer, but I also have
to work with the others,” he says,
as he insists that it is an issue that
has not and will not interfere with
his faith.
He first burst into prominence four
years ago after working on the
videos of Jimmy Gait’s, ‘Holy Day’,
and a hit by Mr Seed featuring
M.O.G, ‘Papa God Ooh’.
And from that moment, this
producer has never looked back, as
he prides in having worked on
some of the most popular gospel
songs in the country.
The list of the artistes he has had
a chance to work on their music is
long, a fact that seen his name.
“I have worked on the videos of
artistes like Jimmy Gait, Esther
Wahome, Kambua, MOG, Eko dyda,
Dunco, Alice Kamande, Gloria
Muliro, Eunice Njeri, Mercy
Masika, Betty Bayo, Ben Githae,
Kriss mhh baba, Willy paul and
Exodus from Uganda,” he says.
Also he has played a huge role in
careers of the likes of Willy Paul,
apart from being named producer
of the year at The Groove Awards
three years ago. “I also received
the same accolade at the Mwafaka
Awards last year,” he explains.
For upcoming artistes who wish to
work with this producer it’s quite
simple, you have to be talented,
disciplined and creative.

Vivian latest news n socialite info

Friday, 20 June 2014 0 comments

Media : When did you become fashion
conscious
Vivian: Well, when I begun music as
a career, I felt that grown and sexy
would describe be best. That is how
I describe by style.
M: You like sporting short hair. Does
this affect how you accessorise
V: Yes it does. Having short hair
means I need to accessorise a lot. I
love earrings. They are in different
ranges and the most expensive cost
me Sh20,000.
M: What dictates your look
V: My music career. My style is
inspired by my music mentors.
M: What part do you love dressing
up
V: I take time to dress my hips since
I am a pear shaped kind of woman.
M: What is that one thing that can
not miss in your handbag or clutch
V: My phone and lip balm.
M: Have you ever had a bad fashion
day
V: Yes, there was this day I left the
house before listening to the
weather man. I had light dressing
and the rains came down pounding.
I froze so much that I had to go to a
shop and get myself new clothes.
M: Have you ever had a dress
malfunction during a show
V: There is this day when my blouse
button came off exposing a bit too
much. There was little I could do so
I just acted like that was in the
plan.

Kenyan rapper Bamzigi rebrands himself

Friday, 13 June 2014 0 comments

Bamzigi’s battle with his demons is
a matter of public record; he is one
of the few vocal celebrities who
publicly share their experience
about drug addiction, a battle he
continues to fight every day. After
going to South Africa for treatment
before coming back to Kenya where
he gets to see his psychiatrist on a
regular basis, he remembers how he
got hooked on cocaine and ecstasy
and his world spiralled out of
control.
“Let’s just say that I got influenced
from the crowd I was hanging out
with. I’ve always loved house music
which wasn’t so popular at the time
so I used to go to select clubs in
Karen which was full of white guys
and it started from there,”
Going back, some could have argued
that leaving Necessary Noize was
career suicide but for his true fans,
Bamzigi could never have been in a
better place musically. In the
middle of their second album
Kenyan Boy Kenyan Girl he pulled
the plug due to what he termed as
bad management from Blu Zebra.
Coming up with his own unique
blend of house, Afro, hip-hop and
with some dancehall influence,
‘Mizuka’ became a force at a time
when few artistes ventured into that
territory. “When I decided to come
up with my own style, Just A Band
were the only ones trying house.
After getting good airplay
internationally and locally in 2009
after I released Mizuka, shortly
thereafter STL and other artists
started,” he says.
Known more to the international
audience than locally, he casts an
eye on a certain group of people
who control the music industry from
the time a song is recorded to the
time it gets to the media.
“There’s a lot of good music out
there but just because it isn’t
within the confinement of a certain
genre, the mafia who control the
industry frustrate you. They make
money by controlling what comes
out,” he says unapologetically.
With hits like Bashete making it to
Norient in Germany, OK Africa, BBC
Extra, even Japanese DJs gave it a
try when he later decided to do a 21
track album titled The Mizuka Hit
Collection that is available on Wabe
with one particular track he did with
fellow artist and brother Kora, called
Mutumia Morogi.
In the middle of making an EP of six
songs, he has gone into
humanitarian projects visiting
rehabs and people affected by drugs
offering support and the much-
needed means of making money.
“I believe drug abuse is as a result
of idleness. That’s why I help young
people to join social media networks
like Social Biz Connect to make
money. It’s a vetted and KRA
registered company that pays,” he
says of his latest venture.
Currently single after breaking off
his relationship six months ago, he
plans to put his knowledge of mixing
and mastering that he acquired from
Dubspot in New York to good use
while he focuses on doing events
and as he prepares to drop his new
music, a rebranded Bamzigi is
underway.

Ole Willy fills up kaberere's shoes

Friday, 6 June 2014 0 comments

Ole Willy fills up
Kaberere's shoes
Aside from his musical accolades,
Kaberere was known around the
showbiz circles as an active event
organiser stationed with Mo Sounds.
The late singer was the man on the
ground in charge of a group of
technicians in events such as the
current Groove tours.
Filling that void was never going to
be easy considering the logistics
concerning location and artiste
management. Seemingly, the late
singer was grooming one his close
friends, Ole Willy who has since
taken up his place at the event
management company.
The singer has been spotted in the
major towns of Eldoret, Nakuru,
Kakamega and Machakos as the main
man on the ground organising the
nifty gritty of the popular event.
Fairly trying to sound modest, the
Eldoret based singer in deed
confirmed that in deed he was
appointed as Kaberere’s
replacement.
“I just thank God for the opportunity
given to me. I delve of the contract
details but filling my brother
Kaberere shoes will forever be a
hard task that I will forever
endeavour to achieve,” said Ole Willy
when Pulse approached him for
comment.

Linda Okello in court over dressing style

Linda Okello, the Kiambu policewoman who drew public attention because of her tight skirt, has moved to court.
Corporal Linda Okello, the Kiambu-based policewoman who drew public attention because of her tight official skirt, has moved to court.
She wants the court to declare the disciplinary action by police over her dressing style as unprocedural and meant to embarrass her.
Ms Okello has been at the centre of public debate after a picture of her in a tight skirt at a KCB rally ran in a newspaper.

TOP 5 STRIP CLUBS IN NAIROBI. Exotic Dancers you won’t believe

Sunday, 1 June 2014 8 comments

APPLE BEEZ
Located along Gaborone road, this is
the pioneer of stripping business in
town. They literally set the trend in
the industry. With strippers from
as far as Brazil and USA, they are
obviously serious about what they
do.The joint is always crowded, but
i would recommend Thursdays
Kamasutra night. it is usually not
as crowded hence the strippers give
guys special attention.
LIDDOS
Located along keekoroke road, this
is the one joint edging out Apple
beez as the ultimate Nairobi’s top
strip club. The music is so loud
here, that you have to shout to
order a drink. Its not as dark as
Apple beez, but it isn’t that bright
either. Beers retail at 250 bob and
they even give you ETR receipts
after purchase. a well managed
club this is.
From 11pm, porn plays in the 42”
plasma TV’s. If that doesn’t put you
in the mood, nothing can. Alcohol
with the background of loud music,
porn on the screens as strippers
defy the laws of gravity causes such
an adrenaline rush. Not a good idea
for premature ejaculators though.
After Midnight, strippers chuck all
manner of dressing and the show
begins.
F3 PANGO
A sister club to the renowned Florida
pack of night clubs, its located along
Moi Avenue in the same building
that Florida 2000 is located. Actually
you use the same entrance to
F2.After 11pm, the music is usually
very loud. with jungus and hindu
guys preferring this club. This is
definitely a high end joint, Sudanese
are also spotted making it rain
here.it is a sight to behold watching
the strippers work those golden
poles.
TAHITI CLUB
Another club located along river
road. Its a relatively small club with
the balcony serving as the VIP
section. The music is loud, so loud
that you can almost see you beer
bottle moving around the table. The
DJ is a cunt though. you might think
that you are chilling somewhere in
Kampala when he decides to go Ham
on Ugandan songs.. The strippers
are gorgeous [well at least a
majority] At around 11pm, the
strippers work the poles with bikinis
and bras and as time goes, lose
everything.
- SMALL WORLD STRIP CLUB
This joint should not even feature in
the list. Its Quite popular though
and hence i have to make a review
about it. Located on a lane just off
river road and on the 5th floor of an
old building that has no lifts, this is
a place you will certainly not visit
twice. The first thing that you notice
after entering the club is this huge
hall with terrible lighting. The joint
looks like a church hall, only that
there are counters and stripping
poles. The VIP section is also a
shitty area, but when you are paying
1 sok to enter, you can’t complain.
So there you have it..

Stella Mwangi that was shot at Snap Harvest studio 2014 2015

Snap Harvest Studio or Panaito
Photography is arguably Nairobi’s
number one photo studio for
socialites and models. It is famous
for producing crisp pictures of
supermodels and socialites some of
which have lightened up the covers
of Kenya’s fashion magazines.
A sneak-peak into Snap Harvest’s
studio revealed pictures of the
city’s curvaceous socialites such as
Corazon Kwamboka and Vera
Sidika.
When we visited, their lounge was
filled with young ladies, most of
them students waiting for their
turn in front of the camera. And
there were surprises too.
Introduced
There was 20-year-old Wako
Hassan, the recently crowned Mr
CBD.
“I was introduced here by a friend
after being crowned Mr CBD. Since
then I have returned here several
times for my photos,” he said.
However, as much as the
photographers who also double up
as editors agreed that their studio
attracted socialites and models,
they said their clientele was
varied.
They also denied claims that they
enhanced images of some of the
socialites using Photoshop.
“There are lies being peddled out
there that the studio is exclusively
for socialites and models. Actually,
the pictures of the girls are less
than 10 per cent of the photos that
we work on,” said 22-year-old Mr
Kevin Buo.
What about the images of some of
the girls whose photos are doing
rounds on social media — their
bodies, especially the hips, look too
exaggerated?
“I do not know if I should bring
you the girls and their photos for
comparison. We don’t Photoshop
unless on request. Most of our
work is editing,” said Mr Buo. He
explains: “If a customer would like
us to replicate a photo of herself
sitting on a chair, we cannot
refuse. After all we have the
technology to do almost everything.
Most of all, customer is the king,”
he added.
His sentiments were echoed by his
colleague, Mr Paul Mboya. “In
photography we have what is
known as post-production. At this
stage, a photo is edited of any
flaws, for instance part of the dress
could have gone out of symmetry,”
said 32-year-old Mboya.
The photos are not only for
modelling. For instance, Mr Hassan
said he would use the photo to
apply for a job with an airline.
Coincidentally, Brenda Ngunyu, a
first timer at Snap Harvest, was
also going to use hers to apply for
an airline job.
Ms Ngunyu, unlike Mr Hassan who
did not request make-up, paid an
extra Sh500. Although Mr Hassan
said it costs him Sh200 for every
photo, Mr Buo said charges varied
depending on the complexity of the
job.
Technology
Snap Harvest was started by Mr
James Panaito in 2011. He then co-
opted Mr Mboya and Mr Buo into
the business. The major problem,
according to Mboya was ignorance.
He recalled a time when Panaito
bought the wrong equipment and
they had to use extra money to get
the right ones.
They said running a photo studio
required a lot of determination and
you had to perfect your editing
skills.
They make a net profit of about
Sh500,000 in a month. Mr Panaito
said he used Sh1.5 million to buy
the studio and another Sh1.5
million to equip it. Since then he
has used approximately Sh10
million on equipping and running
it.

Willy paul - kwa vile song, track

Friday, 30 May 2014 0 comments

Nairobi - One of the most
controversial gospel artists in the
country, Willy Paul is back once
more with the release of a new
track titled ‘Kwa Vile’.
This comes a few weeks after his
arrival back into the country from
a two month long tour across the
United States of America.
It also comes a week after the KOT
(Kenyans of Twitter) blasted him
after his appearance on the Trend
show, where he allegedly copied
dance moves from Diamond
Platnumz. He has also apparently
changed his name from just Willy
Paul to Willy Paul Msafi.
The new video is without a doubt
the most anticipated release from
the artists this year, and since its
release early today, it has had
over 500 YouTube views, with the
numbers climbing steadily.
According to the video’s
publishers “This song is about
reflecting about the goodness of
our Lord and hence, celebrating
and dancing for Him.”
The video will make you want to
dance for the lord and will leave
you touched and inspired.

The shoes cost approximately 105420 Kenyan Shillings. Not to be outdone General Defao also brought style to the meeting and wore a green buttoned down shirt with black leather shoes paired with a pair of Gold Versace Medusa Hi-Top Trainers that cost about $916 (80470)
His gold sneakers feature a gold-tone Medusa emblem at the front. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words but this picture is worth 185,890 Kshs…for a pair of shoes!
