Gospel singer Ringtone has added
his voice on the raging debate on
bleached-look Vera Sidika, the dare
devil socialite who now claims
Kenyan men are broke busy bodies.
“You used to be so beautiful and I
personally loved your old look. I
miss you…the old Vera. She was
nothing close to the bleached one,”
Ringtone lamented. “God’s original
plan was for you to be a normal
looking girl. Look at you now. What
have you done,” the Kazi ni Kazi and
Mziki ni Dawa hit-maker added.
The singer was speaking in Kisii town
where he had joined the president’s
convoy during his meet-the-people
tour of Nyanza.
His sentiments came after yet
another aggrieved reader, Sadat
Muhindi, the CEO of the Maliza
Umaskini talent search outfit
slammed the popular socialite over
the broke Kenyan men outburst.
“If she has been dating a poor
Kenyan boy, she should persist from
calling Kenyan men poor. She is an
hustler and should keep her debate
on that corner of life. It is wrong for
a woman, especially a Kenyan lady to
label Kenyan men poor. We are not,
probably her boyfriends,” the
philanthropic Sadat toned.
“If Vera thinks bleaching herself
makes her special than other Kenyan
girl, we will prove to her that black
beauty is still the best. I am setting
up a competition for ordinary black
girls to benefit as part of my charity
projects,” he added.
