Police
in Kericho are investigating the
mystery surrounding the death of
Bureti Assistant County
Commissioner, Richard
Nyanamba.
The body of the County Chief was
found in his house by his friend
who had gone to check on him
after his phone went
unanswered.
He is suspected to have probably
died from a heart attack.
Kericho County Police
Commandant, Rose Muchuma,
while confirming the incident said
that the cause of his death is still
a mystery and police are waiting
for a postmortem report.
She added that they have ruled
out any possibility of an attack
since there were no signs of any
struggle in the house. Earlier on,
he had complained of chest pains
and they are now linking that to
his sudden death.
